Richard Sorenson, DDS
Dr. Richard Sorenson earned both his Bachelor of Science degree and D.D.S. degree from the University of Minnesota and also received additional training in the field of orthodontics. He has been in practice for 36 years and often lectures to the public on mission dentistry in Honduras.

Dr. Sorenson is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Minneapolis District Dental Society and the American Orthodontic Society. He is also active in the community as a volunteer with the Union Gospel Mission, Mission of Mercy (Dental/Surgical) and the Child Sponsorship International. An active member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, Dr. Sorenson enjoys sailing and auto restoration in his free time. He really enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds to have as nice a smile and as healthy a life as possible.

Dr. Sorenson is planning to retire this summer after nearly 40 years of practice. He will be greatly missed by patients and staff. Although he will greatly miss treating his patients he knows that they will be in great hands with Dr. Reynolds. Below is a link to read a message from Dr. Sorenson.

Andrea Newton, DDS
A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Dr. Andrea Newton is board certified and has been in private practice for seven years. She is active with the Give Kids a Smile Program and is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Women’s Metro Study Club and the Minneapolis District Dental Society.
Dr. Newton keeps busy with her two young children. In her free time, she loves to garden and spend her time outdoors. She also enjoys theatre and is an avid fan of Minnesota sports.


Michael Reynolds, DDS
Dr. Reynolds is originally from West Des Moines, Iowa. He earned his BA in Microbiology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his D.D.S. degree from University of Iowa. Following his graduation from dental school he elected to further his dental education by completing a General Practice Residency at the University and VA Hospitals in Iowa City. During his residency Dr. Reynolds received additional training in sedation techniques, treating medically compromised patients, and advanced oral surgery techniques. He also spent time in the operating room treating developmentally disabled patients, and in the emergency room treating dental injuries and infections. Dr. Reynolds enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and takes great pride in giving each patient an incredible smile.

Dr. Reynolds was drawn to the Minneapolis area by his wife, Macey, who grew up in Edina. Macey is currently working as a labor and delivery nurse in the Fairview Hospital system. They both place a high premium on health and enjoy working out and participating in athletics. In the summers Mike and Macey enjoy spending time with their family at Lake Okoboji in Iowa.
